This smart, popular brasserie is set over two floors, with an open kitchen and a relaxing ambience. The menu offers unfussy European dishes, with meats cooked on the grill, including mature, dry-aged steaks to share. The name derives from the Avalon plum, which is served as a jam with the Basque cheesecake. Avalon is a modern European eatery in Oslo.
