Aswan airport, Egypt
Aswan airport was established in may 1956 with costs about half million Egyptian pound to serve tourism movement in Aswan ; it was operated during day only; in 1982 it was operated with assistance lights as airport would be operated during day & night.
In 1992 the airport was expanded to accommodate increase number of passengers “international hall & Abu Simble Hall”.
In 1999 the president “Mohamad Husni Mobarak” opened a new terminal on area 120,000 squares with capacity 3200 passenger per hour; the airport costs about 250 million Egyptian pound.
