Ashburton Aviation Museum, Elgin 7772, Canterbury Region, New Zealand
From WWII 202 Harcards to Bensen Gyro Gliders, there are planes for young and old to admire and identify with at the Ashburton Aviation Museum. The planes, which come from as far afield as Britain and Germany, are all unique and different. The museum also has a display of local aviation history, model aircraft memorabilia and a research library.
Open Wednesdays and Saturdays 10am to 3pm, every other day 1pm to 3pm.
