Buying bare land in the emerging Bridge Pa Triangle Wine Growing Region of Hawke’s Bay in 2000, the Wilcock family bought into a dream that these unique soils could make some of the worlds best wines. After many years planning, developing, planting and nuturing, our home, Cardoness Vineyard, produces premium Hawke’s Bay Syrah, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Viognier.
In late 2008 Ash Ridge Wines was established to produce a range of premium wines using fruit from our own vineyard. In order to create a range of Bridge Pa Triangle wines we have also partnered with the Peet Vineyard. The vineyard is based on an ash pumice ridge of soil, and is planted in merlot, cabernet sauvignon, cabernet franc and malbec.
