This art gallery was opened by the painter Miloudi Nouiga. “When you live in the Kasbah of the Udayas,” he said,”every morning you discover the Wadi with a new color. “Chromatic variations that he fixed to watercolour. Like many other artists living in the blue city, the painter sought his inspiration here. Beautiful collective exhibitions in local colours. Book and postcard sales and many organized events such as literary cafés.
Galérie d’Art Nouiga is located within the Kasbash des Oudayas (the oldest area of the city) at the end of Rue Jemaa. The gallery is very popular and it has permanent exhibits, as well as exhibitions by guest artists. On display here is mostly the works of local artists including paintings, photography and prints, as well as souvenir books
