Archaeological Museum of Nauplion, Nafplio, Greece
The Archaeological Museum of Nafplion is housed in the imposing Venetian stone building that closes with its impressive size and strict, symmetrical form the western side of Syntagma square. The building was built in 1713 , during the Venetian b, the Intendant of the fleet Augustine Sagredo as fleet warehouse in accordance with the marble Latin inscription is embedded in the facade. This is one of the finest and best preserved buildings of the Venetian era in Greece.
