Ambassador Carsten Grønbech-Jensen is the Permanent Representative of Denmark to the European Union, a position he has held since 2023. Born in 1971, he is married with two children. His extensive career in diplomacy includes roles such as State Secretary for European Affairs and the Arctic, Chief European Affairs Adviser to the Prime Minister, and various positions within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Denmark’s Permanent Representation to the EU. He holds a Master’s degree in Political Science from Aarhus University and a degree in European Politics and Administration from the College of Europe in Bruges
