
Since January 2018 represents Poland in the Committee of Permanent Representatives – COREPER (part II). Bears the responsibility for the following Council’s configurations: Foreign Affairs Council (including FAC Trade, FAC Defence, FAC Development), General Affairs Council (including GAC Cohesion), Economic and Financial Council as well as Justice and Home Affairs Council.
Mr Andrzej Marek Sados holds a degree in law from the University of Warsaw. Joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1997 and in the first decade of service held posts at Poland’s Permanent Representation to the United Nations in Geneva as well as at the Embassies of Poland to Hungary and Switzerland. Went through all levels of professional career serving as spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, department director, undersecretary of state in the Chancellery of the Prime Minister and in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Deputy Ambassador of Poland in Switzerland between 2008-2009 and Deputy Permanent Representative of Poland to the United Nations in Geneva 2009-2012. Between 2012-2017 head of programs in Eastern Europe at the International Catholic Migration Commission in Geneva.
