Altındere Vadisi Milli Park, Maçkam Trabzon, Turkey 

Altındere Valley National Park is located in the Maçka district of Trabzon. Presenting the most beautiful views of the Eastern Black Sea, the national park , along with Altindere, flowing through a deep valley, affects the vigorousness of the rich plant and animal variety.

The area, which has a surface area of 4,800 hectares, has a national park status since 1987. Each year welcomes thousands of visitors, founded in the 4th century AD, Turkey’s most important centers of faith among the Sumela Monastery is located on the western slope of the valley 1,300 meters above sea level and in the national park boundary.
