Al Mintarib Castle is located in Bidiyah, Ash Sharqiyah North ,Oman.Al Mintarib Castle Was built during the thirteenth century AD in the middle of Al Mintarib town in Wilayt Badiya within the A’Sharqiyah North Governorate for sheltering the entire population from enemy attacks.
The Castle was restored during the reign of Imam Azzan bin Qais Al Busaidi to become the legislative and administrative centre of power in the region. The square-shaped castle extends over an area of 900 square metres.
