Located in the south of Kuwait, Al Khiran is a resort with artificial canals. This is considered the beach capital and the pride of the country. It has everything from palms, fine sand, swimming pools to barbecue areas and an excellent supermarket. You can enjoy sea activities such as jet skiing, water skiing, and scuba diving along the beach front, apart from two snack shacks offering refreshments. There is also a boating trip offered to guests into the deep blue sea.

Al Khiran is an artificially created resort in the south of Kuwait located in the city of the same name with numerous canals. This is the pride of the country and the beach capital, where there are always a lot of vacationers from around the world and local residents. Faris Villas and Al Khiran Diamond are the two major hotels in Al Khiran. The fares are quite expensive, but become more affordable for large companies. For example, from US$200 per night, it is possible to rent an apartment with 5 bedrooms designed for 12 persons. During the weekends, prices are twice more expensive.

On the coast and bottom lies snow-white fine sand. Tall palm trees grow along the perimeter. The entrance to the water is comfortable and smooth. The beach is shallow, and the water is clear azure warm. The resort is artificially created, so it does not look very comfortable. But the infrastructure is well developed: there is a supermarket, restaurants, cafes, bars, pools, barbecue and picnic areas. There are no conditions for snorkeling and diving.

There are many apartments and hotels on the coast. Prices are high. It is profitable to book accommodation for large companies. Among the offers there are apartments of 5 bedrooms for 12 people. This option will be beneficial for a large family. The cost per day begins at $200. On weekends, housing prices double. Travelers go to Al Khiran by taxi, but locals use their own cars. It is just 50 km from Kuwait to the beach.

Kuwait has a tropical desert climate –very hot and dry. In summer, the average temperature is +45 degrees in the sun and +35 in the shade, there is no precipitation, sometimes dust storms occurs here. In winter, the weather is changeable – frosts occur sometimes. Most precipitation falls in the fall due to cyclones from the Indian Ocean. Water temperature is from +26 to +37 in summer and +16 in winter. Dry desert wind blows from May to October. It is best to relax in Kuwait in the winter, in the middle of spring and autumn.
