Ain El Fouara Fountain, Sétif, Algeria
Take a sip of water coming from Ain El Fouara, and legend has it you will return again to this fountain. During hot summer days, the natural spring water here provides welcome refreshment. A 19th-century sculpture by Francis de Saint-Vidal–donated by France’s School of Fine Arts–adorns the shady spot. Relax under the trees that surround the fountain and watch the world go by, or admire it from a comfortable seat of a nearby cafe.
