African American Civil War Museum

Museum spotlighting the history of the United States Coloured Troops during the American Civil War. The mission of the African American Civil War Memorial and Museum is to correct a great wrong in history which pretty much ignored the heroic role of 209,145 US Coloured Troops in ending slavery and keeping America united under one flag.

African American Women of the Civil War Auxiliary Organisation

The Museum aims to educate and celebrate the accomplishments of the women and African American Civil War Soldiers who fought for freedom. We offer re-enactments, dramatic readings, and other educational programs to share the unique stories of these individuals.
