Acqua Circo-Beach Park, Aquiraz. State of Ceara, Brazil
The Beach Park has just opened its newest attraction: the Acqua Circus. Installed in an area of 1,300 square meters, the Acqua Circo is considered the largest children’s aquatic playground in the world, by gathering large quantities of toys in a single attraction. There are 52 different toys interconnected, reaching a total of 131 equipment aimed at children up to 12 years of age.
Acqua Circo is also considered the best children’s equipment by using high quality technical material and state-of-the-art technology. The entire toy floor is made of pebble-flex , an imported floor and never used before in Brazil. It is non-slip, does not lose its color and cushions impacts, besides staying on a layer made with recycled tire rubber, guaranteeing the smoothness of the area.
The capacity of the Acqua Circo is for about 430 people simultaneously and the circus theme is present in toys like guns, jets, showers, fountains, slides, tunnels, fixed pedalos and seesaws. A central shallow pool, covered by two stylized canvases, represents the great arena and offers sun protection for the little ones. Around the pool there are loungers and chairs so that parents can accompany their children’s enjoyment in comfort, as well as food and beverage outlets.
“The creative design of toys with interactive attractions, vivid colors and the traditional circus model served as the basis for the creation of the Acqua Circoproject , which uses cartoon language “, reveals Leonardo Fontenele, an architect who worked on Walt’s design core Disney Company and responsible for the theming of the new attraction of Beach Park.
