Beijing Air and Space Museum

More than 200 historic aircraft are displayed at this spacious indoor-outdoor destination. The Beijing Air and Space Museum is a museum in Haidian Qu, Beijing, China. The museum is part of the Beihang University, one of China’s most prestigious engineering schools. It was founded in 1985 under its original name the Beijing Aviation Museum. The museum has 8,300 square meters of exhibition area.

The museum founded in 1985 as Beijing Aviation Museum was later renamed after renovations in 2012. Here you can learne about the aviation history of China. In the hall there is display of engines and various parts of aircrafts. In the main hall, there is display of more than 30 aircrafts. The Northrop p-61 Black widow, ,The H-6 Bomber, J-8 aircraft,HARRIER,Chengdu J-7 Chinese version of the Mikoyan-Gurevich MIG-21F. The Beijing first are some of the aircrafts you can see.The Beijing First, is the only aircraft out of two present here. At the Middle of display is Harbin Z-5 helicopter, The Chinese built version of the MIL Mi-4. The Upper floor hascollection of aircraft models hung beautifully in the ceiling. It also had Satellites and interesting information of space program of China.
