It’s hard to believe you’re still in San Francisco while standing at Immigrant Point, gazing out at the spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean, the Marin Headlands, and – on a clear day – Point Reyes National Seashore.
The best way to experience Immigrant Point is during a walk along the Juan Bautista de Anza National Historic Trail ; this is the perfect place to stop and catch your breath. Pack up a lunch and snag one of the tables in the gorgeous picnic area just across the street from the overlook. A word of caution – there aren’t any restrooms here.
