Chillon Castle is a beautiful island castle located on Lake Geneva, south of Veytaux in the canton of Vaud. It is situated at the eastern end of the lake, on the narrow shore between Montreux and Villeneuve,
Chillon castle, with its strong walls and towers. It rises from boulders and the lake which here is 50ft deep. A few steps from the shore and connected by a bridge.
