National Trust – Formby
On this National Trust walk along glorious Formby beach in Merseyside you can also explore vast sand dunes and sweeping coastal pinewoods. Nestled between Formby Point and the Ainsdale Sands Nature Reserve, the National Trust Undiscovered Formby walk is a perfect mix of beach walking and back to nature surroundings.
It’s a great family day out, encompassing woodland and sand dunes full of wildlife. And once on the beach you can see for miles and totally forget how close you are to a major city.
