Appartment of Albert Einstein, Einsteinhaus, Bern, Switzerland
To the memory of the physicist and humanist Albert Einstein. The apartment on the second floor at Kramgasse 49 had rented Albert Einstein from 1903 to 1905. It is furnished in the style of the time and documents his life in Bern. It is open to the public. On April 18, 1955 – about half a century ago – Albert Einstein died in Princeton, USA, half a century after the Annus Mirabilis in 1905 , in which he “turned the physical world image upside down” in Bern.
