Kharakhorum Museum, Harhorin, Mongolia
A really nice museum. One of the two things that you must visit if you are in Kharakhorum. Traces the history of mankind in the region. An eyeopener. Surprising that despite being the headquarters of one of the largest empires in the 12 and 13th Century, there are very few monuments to show for the glory of that era, or were they destroyed by the communist revolution, find out!
