Tolbo lake & Camp, Mongolia
Tolbo lake is fresh water lake in south of Olgii in western Mongolia and also known as one of biggest lakes in western Mongolia. It extends on 185 square kilometres in the heart of the Altai range, at more than 2000 metres above the sea level. During the Winter, it’s possible to move on the iced lake. The lake was the witness of the battle of Tolbo lake during the Russian civil war, when the Bolsheviks allied to the Mongolians defeated a White Russians army.
