Red Beach, Panjin, Liaoning, China

Panjin Red Beach, also called Panjin Honghaitan Scenic Area, is located in China’s Bohai Bay, about 40 kilometers away from Panjin City, Liaoning Province. This scenic area got its name because it is covered by a large area of red seepweeds, which paint the land totally red from around April to October every year. Panjin Red Beach is actually a wetland, covered not only by seepweeds but also by reeds and paddy rice fields. In addition, it’s a habitat of lots of water birds, so it’s a wonderful place of interest for visitors to enjoy natural beauty.
