Lungomare Falcomatà, Eggio Calabria RC, Italy
The Lungomare Falcomatà is a 4-km-long boulevard located along the Calabrian coast, near the city of Reggio Calabria. This place, which features many beautiful natural and cultural sites, has been described by writer Gabriele d’Annunzio as “the most beautiful kilometre of Italy”. During summertime the Lungomare is a very popular tourist destination. On clear sky days, it is possible to see the summit of Mount Etna, a volcano located in Sicily, on the other side of the Strait of Messina.
