Sarre Royal Castle, Sarre AO, Italy
Seen From a hill facing the valley of Aosta. Sarre Royal Castle dominates access to the upper valley. After several changes of ownership, it was acquired by the king of Italy Vittorio Emanuele II, who made it as a hunting lodge. The current building, which includes a more ancient nucleus arranged around a huge square tower, was built at the beginning of the eighteenth century.
