The eternal flame at the Tsitsernakaberd Memorial in Yerevan, Armenia, on Armenian Genocide Remembrance Day 2014. Constructed on the eve of the 50th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide, thousands of Armenians gather at the memorial to commemorate the victims of the genocide on April 24 of every year. They lay fresh flowers out of respect for those who died in the genocide.
