The Köýtendag Nature Reserve, formerly the Kugitang Nature Reserve, is a nature reserve on the eastern tip of Turkmenistan. Established in 1986, it is located in the Köýtendag mountain range of the province of Lebap and covers an area of 271.4 km². The reserve is the home of the rare markhor of Heptner
