Entree des Grottes de Ain-Fezza, Algeria

The caves of Beni-Add, at 1143 m above sea level, are located in Aïn Fezza, between Lamoricière and Tlemcen. Legend has it that the inhabitants, impressed by these huge caves, refused to enter and had made the homes of “Djinns”, demons or evil beings. They are reputed to be the “pearl of the Maghreb”.
