Hammamet Medina, Tunisia
The historical heart of town, Medina of Hammamet encompasses a walled district constructed in the 15th century. The medina’s battlements enclose labyrinthine streets flanked by stores and stalls selling clothing, jasmine products, spices, cooking implements, and ornaments. The whitewashed homes have been decorated with bright blue embellishments, making the area a very photogenic part of town.
