Anfitcatro Romano di Leptis Magna, Libya 

The Roman amphitheater of Lepcis Magna, located near the present-day city of Khoms in Libya. During the late antique era, the structure was divided into low-scale housing. It was built in 56 during the emperor Nero’s principality in the cavity of an old quarry of building materials.

The amphitheater could accommodate 15,000 people. The major axis of the ellipse is 100 meters long while the minor axis 80.
