Ol Donyo Sabuk Mountain, Kenya
Ol Donyo Sabuk is a mountain and an adjacent small town near Thika Kenya. The town is located in Kyanzavi Division, Machakos County. The peak, height 2,145 metres, was named by Maasai pastoralists, meaning big mountain. The Kikamba name, Kiima kya mboo, means Buffalo Hill or Mountain. Buffalo is called Nyati or “Mboo” in Swahili. The town stands at the edge of Machakos County.
