Moholoholo Animal Rehabilitation Center, Mopani, South Africa
The Moholoholo Rehabilitation centre cares for wild animals which have been injured, or even poisoned in their natural habitat. They aim to rehabilitate the injured animals and release them back into the wild, where they belong.
The problem is that some animals are so badly injured, they can never be released back into the wild to fend for themselves and the centre is a permanent home for some of these animals. Think of these animals like ambassadors to their species, the centre educates guests on the problems facing wildlife with particular focus on conflicts with humans.
