National Museum, Yaounde, Cameroon
Housed in the former presidential residence, today National Museum of Yaounde serves as an institution for the conservation of the national culture. Opened in 1972, the museum attracts visitors with its architecture, attractive grounds, and vast collection of art. Take a guided tour to see exhibits of bronze and wooden statues and symbols, as well as pictures of historical figures. You can also visit the lavish yard with 12 fountains and examples of traditional houses originating from each of the country’s regions
