The Cufada Lakes Natural Park, situated in the South of Guinea-Bissau, in the Administrative Region of Quinará, has an area estimated at 890 km² and is undoubtedly one of the most interesting areas of the country to know .

Consisting of three lakes (Biorna, Bedasse and Cufada itself) this park holds the country’s largest freshwater reserve, an important detail for the existence of several rare types of animals and plants.

Before visiting the park contact the IBAP, the park has accommodation services, bar, restaurant and ecotourism guides through the immense rainforest and, just imagine, watching hippos that inhabit the ponds of the park or take kayaking trips through the lakes.
