Museum of Bamako, Mali
The Bamako Museum is a heritage place for the protection, conservation and transmission of the city’s urban heritage.
It is in fact traces of its foundation, the cultural diversity of its inhabitants and also the socio-economic and political changes that it has experienced.
To do this, it was created under the authority of the Mayor of the District Museum of Bamako by Order No. 22 / M-DB of December 6, 2001 , so that it becomes a tool of education and enjoyment for all visitors. Thus, the museum has been open since 09 December 2003 with objects collected from the founding families of Bamako.
