Ziguinchor Casamance, Senegal
Ziguinchor is a city in the Casamance region of southern Senegal. The region is also referred to historically and popularly as Basse Casamance.
The Casamance region, between Gambia and Guinea, is a must-see on any trip to Senegal. The most fertile region in the country, it is filled with lush vegetation and also attracts visitors for its superb Atlantic coast lined by magnificent beaches, with Cap-Skirring at the top of the list.
