Galerie Arte, Dakar, Senegal
Galerie Arte Dakar was founded in 1996 by Joëlle le Bussy in Dakar, Senegal. It is the first gallery of Contemporary Art and Design in Senegal. It is located in the city center.
The Arte Gallery is like a big apartment in which:
Its fundamental concept is to value the different forms of contemporary creativity of the African continent and also to seek a new mixed aesthetic.
The Gallery organizes several exhibitions of contemporary art or crafts in the year and also offers design furniture made from precious wood species from Africa. The furniture is designed by Joëlle le Bussy and made in her workshops in Dakar.
