Océanium, Dakar, Senegal
Since 1984, Oceanium Dakar has worked towards sustaining a sustainable offshore and onshore environment. Established by Professor Jean-Michel Kornprobst, the association tries to raise awareness and educate people about the sensitivity of the world around them. Go scuba diving to visit underwater cliffs, coral reefs, and even submerged shipwrecks. If you prefer to stay above water, kayak through the forests of mangrove to observe various sea creatures. The institute also organizes trips to the bird islands and plant nurseries.
