The Karuizawa Picturebook Museum is facility within the Forest of Muse park in Nagano, Japan that is dedicated to the collection and display of notable or rare children’s books. The Forest of Muse is a museum park with three distinct facilities: The Picturebook Museum, the Erz Toy Museum, and the Picturesque Garden.
The Picturebook Museum features two exhibition halls for the display of Western and Japanese children’s books and picture book art, an event space, a library and a garden. The Picturebook Museum is known in part for its collection of Peter Rabbit books and the unique architecture and landscaping of the park
