Between the Ueno and Asakusa neighborhoods, Kappabashi (or “Kitchen Town”) has been the mecca for Japanese restaurant professionals and budding chefs since 1912. From kitchen equipment to tableware to clothing and decorative items, if there is anything you are still missing for your kitchen or dining room, you will most likely find it in one of the over 100 shops in Kappabashi.
