Matadero Beach, El Hoceima, Taza-Al Hoceima-Taounate, Morocco
In the city of Al-Hoceima, not far from Nador, is one of the most beautiful Moroccan beaches: Matadero beach. Located to the east of Al Hoceima National Park, facing the golf course of the same name, Matadero Beach is a typical Mediterranean beach. Bordered by clear rock, this small beach of blond sand faces azure water. The bathing is calm and pleasant there.
To enjoy your day on the beach of Matadero, remember to bring a beach umbrella because the sun hits hard on the north coast of Morocco, especially in summer. For lunch or afternoon tea, you can of course take your picnic, but you can also visit one of the restaurants located near the beach.
Access to Matadero beach is very simple. From Nador, take the N16 road west and then the P5211 road. The road, which borders the coast, offers more beautiful landscapes.
