Kasbah of the Udayas, Rabat, Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, Morocco
A UNESCO world heritage site, It is located in Rabat in the mouth of Bou Regreg River on the Atlantic Ocean. The Kasbah of Udayas was built in the 12th century during the reign of Almohad caliphate . After Almohad had captured Rabat, they destroyed the Kasbah of Almoravid dynasty in the town. They began to rebuild it. They added a palace and mosque to it.
