Maoao Fishing Harbor, Gongliao District, New Taipei City, Taiwán
During earlier prosperous times, fishermen built their houses with stones. Several years ago, local residents worked hand in hand to rebuild their community with a local product, pearl abalone shells, for more beautiful environment around the Fish Harbor.
Recently, the New Taipei City Government has designated Maoao Bay as a conservation area of fishery resources for the protection of rich marine resources. You are recommended to visit here at your leisure to enjoy the breeze and the sound of waves; the enjoyment of serenity and peace help you put your worries and concerns away.
