Dianji Temple, Ren’ai District, Keelung City, Taiwán

The Gongji Palace was built in the Thirteenth Year of the Tongzhi Year of the Qing Dynasty (1483 AD). It is now a century-old temple. However, the temple is dedicated to the resurrection of the Holy King of Kings, the general of the Tang Dynasty, Chen Yuanguang, whose birthday has so far reached 1,300 years. The King of Kaiyuan was a native of Henan Province. In the second year of the Tang Chui Arch, “AD 686” was ordered to establish the city of Fujian and Guangdong. Since he opened up the border to appease the local people, Enze and Yu-Taiwan became the king of Kaiwang after his death. Most of the ancestors of Keelung came from southern Yunnan, and they greatly admired the Duke of General Chen Yuanguang, who was the king of the Holy Kingdom, and built a temple in Keelung.

At the time, Keelung local gentry Baifan, Ji Tonglian Xin Yong, Yang Chuan, etc. purchased more than a dozen of fields from outside Mushan for the temple production, built wood on the temple, but later donated by the Banqiao ethnic group Lin Benyuan and now Wang Tian of Yanai District. The land was then donated by local priests Zhang Jinfa and Lai Wu, etc., and they received a warm response from the local government. In the first year of the Qing dynasty, “1875 AD”, the Jinji Palace was built at the time and was very impressive.
