Milet Museum, Didim, Yenihisar, Aydın, Turkey
The Milet Museum Directorate is located in the ancient city of Milet near Aydin Province, Didim District, Balat Village. The static structure of the Museum Building, which was opened in 1973, has been corrupted. It has been closed because of danger of life and property safety.
Following the closure of the Old Museum Building, the construction of the new Museum Building has been started and the new museum building, which has a usage area of 1200 square meters, was opened in May of 2011.
Milet Museum display areas; garden diagnosis and indoor area diagnosis. The garden exhibits lion sculptures, inscriptions, grave stellar, sarcophagi, architectural elements and column headings, which are the Miletan city symbols.
