Gothenburg is all about the sea, or so everyone will keep telling you. But there are the lakes and the forests, too. Large Lake Delsjön is perfect on hot days, a place where locals go swimming, fishing, or paddling in one of the rental canoes. Don’t fancy getting on or in the water? Simply enjoy a barbecue on the lawns. The whole area around Lake Delsjön is a recreational attraction with running tracks and several other lakes. And it’s easy to access: Take tram no. 5 to Töpelsgatan, walk up the hill, and there you are.
