After touching down back on home soil on Monday, July 28, 2025, the victorious Lionesses received an absolutely incredible welcome at 10 Downing Street! The iconic black door was adorned with St. George’s flags and bunting, creating a truly celebratory atmosphere as the squad, still buzzing from their historic EURO 2025 triumph, stepped onto the red carpet. Hosted by Deputy Prime Minister Angela Rayner and Sports Minister Stephanie Peacock, the reception saw the players, coaches, and Football Association representatives clapped by Downing Street staff as they entered, before enjoying a delightful gathering in the garden, surrounded by pictures showcasing their electrifying journey through the tournament.
