Heroic Lionesses celebrate second Euros title with with open-top bus parade along the Royal Mall of Champions
The heroic Lionesses brought an explosion of joy and triumph to central London with a spectacular open-top bus parade, celebrating their magnificent second consecutive UEFA Women’s EURO title! Thousands of ecstatic fans, draped in flags and beaming with pride, lined The Mall as the champions, fresh from their thrilling penalty shootout victory over Spain, paraded their gleaming trophy. The atmosphere was electric, with cheers, tears, and rousing renditions of “It’s Coming Home” echoing through the streets. The celebration culminated in a fantastic staged ceremony at the Queen Victoria Memorial outside Buckingham Palace, where players like Chloe Kelly and Alessia Russo shared their overwhelming joy, and captain Leah Williamson, holding back tears, passionately reminded everyone that this incredible story is “not done yet” – promising even more magic to come for the nation! It was a truly uplifting display of national pride, celebrating a team that continues to inspire millions and redefine what’s possible in women’s football.

Our brilliant England manager, Sarina Wiegman, was absolutely beaming with pride and joy at yesterday’s parade! She admitted the whole experience of winning a second consecutive Euros felt “very surreal” and joked that she had to apologize to the fans for giving them “lots of heart attacks” with the team’s dramatic, come-from-behind victories throughout the tournament. Wiegman praised the “incredible bonding” within the team, highlighting that it made “the absolute difference” and that “everyone was ready to step up and support each other.” A truly unforgettable moment for her was being completely “flabbergasted” and dancing on stage with her favourite artist, Burna Boy, proving that even our cool and collected manager knows how to celebrate in style!

The Lionesses’ historic second consecutive EURO title is nothing short of a seismic event for English women’s football, solidifying its place not just as a growing sport, but as a national obsession and a powerful source of inspiration! This back-to-back triumph, especially winning on foreign soil, has irrevocably cemented their legacy, transforming what was once a “pipe dream” into a tangible reality, and in doing so, they have become undeniable champions of the people. This sustained success is turbocharging the growth of women’s and girls’ football at every level, as countless young girls and boys, witnessing their heroes’ grit, determination, and unshakeable belief, are now eagerly lacing up their boots and dreaming of becoming the next Chloe Kelly or Leah Williamson, proving that anything is possible and showing a new generation that there’s a powerful, respected, and exhilarating pathway for them in the beautiful game.

Princess Beatrice, her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, and their children Sienna, Athena, and Christopher “Wolfie” Woolf were proudly spotted among the jubilant crowds lining The Mall for the Lionesses’ open-top bus parade yesterday, Tuesday, July 29, 2025, enthusiastically celebrating the team’s incredible second consecutive EURO title.
