Standing at 205 meters with 50 floors, it is the tallest inhabitable building in Switzerland, designed by the renowned architectural firm Herzog & de Meuron. This modern skyscraper primarily serves as an office building, accommodating thousands of Roche employees in flexible, state-of-the-art workspaces, and embodies the company’s commitment to its Basel site and its research-focused mission.
These tours provide a unique opportunity to see the architecture, work areas, and enjoy stunning views from the top-floor cafeteria. Booking for these tours is free but required, often via the Basel Tourism website. Participants must be at least 7 years old and bring identification.
