Cartoonmuseum Basel – Centre for Narrative Art is Switzerland’s only museum devoted entirely to narrative drawing—from comics to caricatures to graphic novels—curated across a historic Gothic building and modern extension by Herzog & de Meuron. Open to the public from Tuesday through Sunday each week, its visiting hours run from 11 am until 5 pm. The museum remains closed on Mondays. Special arrangements, including guided tours or group visits, may be possible outside of these hours by prior appointment. Note that closures also occur during exhibition changeovers or public holidays, so it’s wise to check the website in advance
