
The Canmore Nordic Centre Provincial Park is a premier destination for outdoor enthusiasts, located just west of Canmore, Alberta, within the Canadian Rocky Mountains. Originally developed for the 1988 Winter Olympics, it remains one of the few operational Olympic Nordic skiing venues globally.
The park offers over 65 kilometers of groomed trails suitable for both classic and skate skiing techniques, supported by a combination of natural and machine-made snow. In the summer months, visitors can enjoy more than 100 kilometers of mountain biking and hiking trails, catering to various skill levels. Additional amenities include a biathlon range, disc golf course, and facilities for hosting regional, national, and international sporting events. A Kananaskis Conservation Pass is required for vehicle parking in the area
